FC Dallas and the Los Angeles Galaxy will face each other in Major League Soccer Western Conference this weekend. The game will be played at the Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas, and is scheduled to kick off at 3am UK time on Sunday.

FC Dallas

FC Dallas are having a disappointing season. Luchi Gonzalez’s side are at the foot of the Major Soccer League Western Conference table at the moment, having picked up just 11 points from 14 games.

Gonzalez’s team will head into the match against Los Angeles Galaxy on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Colorado Rapids in Major League Soccer. It followed a 1-0 loss at the hands of the Portland Timbers.

Team News:

Matt Hodges has a hip problem and will not play. Ricardo Pepi could replace Franco Jara in the starting lineup.

Los Angeles Galaxy

The Los Angeles Galaxy are having a wonderful season and are one of the favourites to go all the way in Major League Soccer. Greg Vanney’s side are third in Western Conference table at the moment with 25 points from 14 matches, seven points behind leaders, the Seattle Sounders.

Vanney’s team will head into the match against FC Dallas on the back of a 2-2 draw with Real Salt Lake. It followed a 2-1 defeat to the Vancouver Whitecaps.

Team News

Javier Hernandez is set to miss out again, while Sega Coulibaly is on the sidelines with a groin problem.

Key Factors to Consider

  • FC Dallas have scored 14 goals and conceded 23 in MLS.
  • LA Galaxy have scored 23 goals and conceded 22 in MLS.
  • FC Dallas have lost their last three MLS games.
  • LA Galaxy have won one of their last four MLS games.

LA Galaxy have not been in great form in recent games, but they should still have enough to get the better of FC Dallas.

Prediction: Los Angeles Galaxy to win 2-1
