Moldova and Norway will lock horns with each other in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualification (UEFA) this weekend. The Group I game between Serghei Cleșcenco’s side and Ståle Solbakken’s team will be held at Stadionul Zimbru in Chisinau and is scheduled to kick off at 5pm UK time on Saturday.

Moldova

Moldova are a very modest team in Europe and do not have any football heritage. They do not have any major clubs who do well in European competitions, and their domestic league is not among Europe’s elite.
