Paris Saint-Germain have been credited with an interest in Lazio star Antonio Candreva, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The Saints are reportedly ready to pay up to €25 million for the experienced midfielder who has enjoyed a very successful season with Lazio.
Candreva has managed no less than 12 goals and 6 assists in 37 Serie A outings to establish himself as one of league’s best midfielders.
Having been impressed with the player’s performances, Lazio officials plan to purchase the other half of his contract from Udinese for €9 million, but it appears they face a battle on their hands to keep hold of the midfielder who is also wanted by Juventus and Napoli.
Candreva, 27, has also become a very important player in Cesare Prandelli’s side and he is almost certain to be named in Italy’s final World Cup squad. He has so far earned 19 caps for the national team.
