Ralf Rangnick wants Konrad Laimer at Manchester United

Manchester United are interested in signing Konrad Laimer from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that United interim-manager Ralf Rangnick has recommended the Premier League giants to make a move for the 24-year-old Austria international midfielder.

Rangnick knows his Austrian compatriot well and rates him highly, and the United interim-manager believes that the 24-year-old would be a good addition to the team at Old Trafford. Laimer is out of contract at Leipzig in the summer of 2023, and the Bundesliga club do not think that the midfielder is going to put pen to paper on a new deal.

Laimer has made 14 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for RB Leipzig this season, scoring four goals and providing four assists in the process. The midfielder has also given one assist in six Europa League matches this season.
