Reading striker in high demand

Sky Sports has learned that Reading forward Noel Hunt is followed by a number of high-profile clubs from England.

The experienced striker is out of contract in the summer and it is clear he will not be staying with the Madejski outfit, who have just been relegated to the Championship.

According to Sky Sports, newly-promoted Cardiff City, West Ham United and Hull City are all pondering moves for the 30-year-old.

Noel Hunt has failed to impress in his first ever Premier League season, bagging just 2 goals in 24 league appearances, although he only made 10 Premiership starts in the process.

However, it appears he is still held in high regards by clubs from the top two divisions, and the fact he will be available on a free transfer only adds to the appeal.

Hunt has spent last five seasons with the Royals, featuring in 148 league matches and scoring 33 goals in the process.
