Real Madrid want to sign Manchester City striker Erling Haaland

Real Madrid are interested in signing Erling Haaland from Manchester City, according to TEAMtalk. The report has noted that former La Liga and UEFA Champions League winners have tried to sign Haaland before and remain keen on the Norway international striker.

City, who won the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FA Cup last season, do not want to sell Haaland and are keen on trying to tie him down to a new deal. The striker has been superb for Pep Guardiola’s side since his transfer to Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2022.

Madrid are second in the La Liga table at the moment with 32 points from 13 matches, two points behind leaders Girona. Meanwhile, City currently find themselves at the top of the Premier League table with 28 points from 12 matches, a point clear of Liverpool and Arsenal, who are second and third respectively in the standings.
