Real Valladolid cannot afford Sandro Ramirez permanent deal

Real Valladolid cannot afford to pay the price Everton ask to let Sandro Ramirez go on a permanent basis, according to club director  Miguel Angel Gomez.

The 24-year-old striker joined Valladolid on loan from the Merseysiders last summer on a season-long loan. So far he has made a total of 21 appearances (15 starts) for the La Liga side in all competitions, scoring four goals.

Speaking to radio Cadena Ser, Gomez pointed out that Sandro still belongs to Everton, and that the Premier League club count on cashing in around €5-6m for his services. Valladolid appear keen to keep him, but they cannot afford to pay that much in the current circumstances. The player has apparently been very happy in Spain and managed to break from a bad streak. They expect a few more goals from him when the season resumes.

Nonetheless, he is set to return to Goodison Park afterwards, and Gomez says that the fact he is still an Everton player must be respected.
