AC Milan’s Suso has been on very good form this season. He netted four goals and laid on seven assists in 10 Serie A games so far, and it was bound to get him some attention. Sport Mediaset currently report that Real Madrid have expressed an interest in his services.
Real have been struggling for goals lately, with Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema apparently unable to step up in the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo who left for Juventus a few months ago, and they’ve been looking at potential reinforcements for their front line. Players like Chelsea’s Eden Hazard and Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane have been mentioned, but the price for either would likely be huge. Suso could represent a quality alternative for considerably less money.
Meanwhile, Marca report that the Champions League holders are also interested in snatching Brahim Diaz from Manchester City. The 19-year-old impressed by scoring twice in the League Cup against Fulham in mid-week. His contract expires next summer, and the Premier League champions haven’t been able to persuade him to sign a new one yet. If the situation doesn’t change by then, the Malaga-born youngster will be able to talk to clubs outside of England from January.
