Monaco goalkeeper Flavio Roma has denied that there has been contact with Italian side Roma over a move.
Roma are searching for an understudy to Alexander Doni.
“At the moment, I haven’t had any contact from Roma,” he told Romagiallorossa.com.
“My contract is expiring, and my name is being linked with clubs who need goalkeepers at the moment. I saw, a few days ago, that my name was connected with Livorno, Fiorentina and even with Lazio, but at the moment nothing has been confirmed,” he continued.
“Obviously I would like to return to Rome, I am a Roman and Roma are a top club. However, I do not know anything about a transfer and I have honestly not spoken with Monaco about it,” he concluded.
