Rubin Kazan beaten at home

Rubin Kazan gave their nearest rivals some new hope in the Russian Premier League, crashing to a 0-1 defeat my FK Moscow.

The only goal of the match in Kazan was scored by Bracamonte after forty minutes.

The defeat comes as a shock to Rubin, who hadn’t dropped a single point in their six previous league games. In fact, the most recent defeat occurred on May 10th.

Rubin’s advantage over CSKA Moscow stands at seven points with seven games left. Dinamo Moscow follow at another point. FK Moscow are ninth in the league, and are likely to finish in mid-table.
