Said Benrahma sends message to Brentford after West Ham transfer

New West Ham United signing Said Benrahma has taken to Instagram to send a message to the Brentford fans.

West Ham have signed Benrahma from Brentford on a loan deal and have paid the Bees a loan fee of £5 million.

As per the deal, the move will become permanent next summer, with the Hammers to pay the Bees £20 million.

The Algeria international, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, joined Brentford in the summer of 2018 and was superb for the London club for the past two seasons.

According to WhoScored, the winger scored 17 goals and provided nine assists in the Championship for Brentford last season.

During the 2019-20 campaign, the Algeria international scored 10 goals and provided 14 assists in the league for the Bees, according to WhoScored.

Benrahma has sent an emotional message to Brentford and is looking forward to starting a new chapter in his career with West Ham, who are rated at 9/2 by Betfair to win against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.
