Veteran striker Steve Savidan is to remain in Caen for the time being, even if French champions Olympique Lyonnais made a big bid for him.
Savidan, according to reports produced by Football365, does not appear completely set with the Normandy club; a situation that is said to rankle his team-mates.
So Jean-Francois Fortin, the president of the northern club, is currently involved in negotiations designed to extend ‘Savigol’s’ contract until 2012.
