Slimani to make Monaco move permanent

Leicester City obviously do not need Islam Slimani anymore! After beating Southampton 9-0 away at St Mary’s, clearly their attacking problems do not exist… All jokes aside, it looks like Slimani will be leaving the former Premier League champions, as his time in France is looking better and better.

Leicester forward is on his way out of the King Power Stadium, as he seems eager to move to Monaco. L’Equipe are reporting that the Ligue 1 club will want to use their option to buy the Algerian for 10 million euros. That is a much lower fee than what Leicester paid when they signed Slimani and at Monaco, everyone are happy with this deal getting closer to materializing.

Algeria international is already on loan at Monaco, where he has had incredible start with five goals and six assists in just eight Ligue 1 appearances in Ligue 1. Whilst he is 31, Slimani’s start shows that he could become incredibly valuable for Monaco this season.
