Sneijder agent dismisses United link

Wesley Sneijder’s agent has dismissed the possibility of the midfielder joining Manchester United this summer, the Express understands.

The 30 year old recently said that he would have to consider any offer from Louis van Gaal to join him at Old Trafford next season, though his representative has stressed that he is happy with Galatasaray.

In his eighteen months with the Istanbul club so far, the midfielder has won the Super Lig, the Cup and the Super Cup to add to the vast collection of trophies he has accumulated across Europe.

He is one of only a few players to have won league titles in four countries, having also done so in his native Netherlands with Ajax, in Italy with Inter Milan and with Real Madrid in Spain.

He won his 101st international cap as Van Gaal’s side beat Australia in Porto Alegre on Wednesday to take control of Group B.
