Snodgrass closing in on Hull switch

FA Cup runners-up Hull City are closing in on the signing of Norwich City midfielder Robert Snodgrass, according to the Mail Online.

The 26 year old scored six goals in thirty league appearances last season, but was unable to help the Canaries avoid relegation to the Championship after three seasons back in the top-flight.

He moved to Carrow Road in the summer of 2012 having spent four years with Leeds United, while he began his career in his native Scotland with Livingston.

Hull, who are preparing for a first ever season in Europe, have already secured the services of midfielder Jake Livermore on a permanent basis from Tottenham Hotspur this summer, while they have also been strongly linked with a move for his old Spurs teammate Michael Dawson.

Norwich, who begin next season against League One champions Wolverhampton Wanderers, are joint favourites to win the Championship next season at 8/1.
