Southampton and Brighton interested in Adnan Januzaj

Southampton and Brighton and Hove Albion are interested in signing Adnan Januzaj from Real Sociedad in the January transfer window, according to Het Laatste Nieuws. It has been reported by the Belgian news outlet that the two Premier League clubs are closely monitoring the situation of the former Manchester United attacking player.

Sociedad do not reportedly want to sell the Belgium international in the January transfer window and want to extend his current contract that runs out in the summer of 2022. AC Milan and AS Roma have made enquires about securing the services of the 25-year-old – who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder – on a loan deal in the January transfer window, but they have been turned down.

According to WhoScored, Januzaj has made two starts and four substitute appearances in La Liga for Sociedad so far this season, scoring two goals in the process. The Belgian has also played 15 minutes in the Europa League for La Real this campaign.
