Spurs consider Neto, Eze as wide attacking additions

Tottenham Hotspur are planning to add a wide attacking player to their ranks in the summer, and according to the Independent, at the moment their main targets are Pedro Neto of Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.

Neto has been linked with a number of top clubs in the Premier League, including Spurs’ arch-rivals Arsenal, as well as Liverpool. If there is to be a race for the services of the 23-year-old Portugal international, Spurs will surely need to qualify for the Champions League to stand a chance against two of the three title contenders.

Meanwhile, Palace are reportedly preparing for strong interest in a number of their key players. Along with Eze, they fear the likes of Michael Olise and Marc Guehi might soon be targeted by top clubs, and if their fears prove founded, they’ll be facing a tough battle to keep their squad together.

But as for Spurs’ interest, it appears Eze might end up at Manchester City instead.
