Tainio becomes second of Spurs quartet to join Sunderland

According to a report on Skysports.com, Teemu Tainio has joined Pascal Chimbonda in taking a medical at Sunderland.

Skysports.com had also broke news of Chimbonda’s medical on Wednesday morning and now he has been joined by team-mate Tainio.

Sunderland have had an ambitious £23 million bid accepted by Spurs for four players. The two above seem to have wrapped up a move while Steed Malbranque and Younes Kaboul are still having discussions with the North East club.
