Tottenham Hotspur are continuing their summer fun! After a year of not buying a single player, the summer of 2019 will be remember as the one when the club wanted to make some statements on the market, especially with the buy of Tanguy Ndombele. But now they could do something similar with Ryan Sessegnon.
According to The Telegraph, Spurs are close to complete the signing of the teenage star from Fulham. Tottenham have been chasing the 19-year-old Englishman for a couple of years now and reportedly they have made a breakthrough in their negotiations with the Championship club.
Fulham could use the money from the potential transfer, after their relegation from Premier League. Selling Sessegnon now would make the most sense for all sides, as the Cottagers are getting ready to bring in Josh Onomah in a separate deal. Tottenham, on the other hand, would get a very talented and experienced player to work with Mauricio Pochettino.
