Tottenham Hotspur could offload Ben Davies

Tottenham Hotspur could sell Ben Davies in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. The report has claimed that there could be changes in the Spurs squad at the end of the season, and that Davies could be one of the players who is let go.

Davies has been on the books of Tottenham since 2014 when he joined from Swansea City. The 31-year-old Wales international has established himself as one of the most reliable figures in the Spurs squad and is able to play as a left-back or as a centre-back in a three-man defence.

The Welshman, though, is not guaranteed a place in the Tottenham starting lineup. The defender has made 12 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Spurs this season. He has scored one goal in those games. Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 60 points from 35 matches, seven points behind Aston Villa, who are fourth and have played 36 games.
