Tottenham Hotspur keeping tabs on Xavi Simons

Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs who are keeping an eye on Xavi Simons, according to SportsLens. The report has claimed that Tottenham, who are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, have watched Simons in action this season. The 20-year-old playmaker is on loan at RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain at the moment.

Simons, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or winger, is one of the best young players in Europe. The 20-year-old Netherlands international has scored seven goals and given nine assists in 27 Bundesliga matches and has scored two goals and provided two assists in the the UEFA Champions League this season.

Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 30 matches, three points behind Aston Villa, who are currently fourth in the standings and have played 32 games. Meanwhile, RB Leipzig currently find themselves fourth in the Bundesliga table with 53 points from 28 games.
