Tottenham Hotspur linked with Marcel Sabitzer

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Marcel Sabitzer from Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Star. The report has claimed that Spurs are among a number of clubs who have been impressed by how well Sabitzer has done at Manchester United so far and are monitoring his situation.

Bayern are open to selling Sabitzer at the end of the season, but the defending Bundesliga champions will demand as much as £30 million in transfer fees for him. The Austria international midfielder joined Manchester United on loan from Bayern in the January transfer window and is scheduled to go back to the German club in the summer of 2023.

Sabitzer has made six starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for United during his loan spell so far, providing one assist in the process. The 29-year-old has also made one start and one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League for the Red Devils so far this season, scoring two goals in the process.
