Tottenham Hotspur are ready to offer Harry Kane a new contract after he decided to turn down Manchester City’s advances and stay at the club, according to The Sun. Kane posted a tweet this week saying that he is fully committed to Spurs and will at at the North London club beyond deadline day.

City have been chasing Kane all summer and have had bids for the England international striker turned down. Tottenham are now planning to reward the 28-year-old with a pay rise of £100,000 per week. Kane earns £230,000 per week at the time, and his new proposed salary will see him get £330,000 per week.

Kane is one of the best strikers in the world and him staying at Tottenham will enhance Nuno’s side’s chances of finishing in the Premier League top four this season. The 28-year-old has been at the North London club his entire club football career so far.
