Tottenham Hotspur trying to sign Brighton and Hove Albion striker Evan Ferguson

Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to be able to sign Evan Ferguson from Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Tottenham want to sign Ferguson as a potential replacement for Harry Kane, who has left for Bundesliga champions Bayern.

Premier League club Tottenham have made contact with the representatives of the 18-year-old Republic of Ireland international striker. However, Brighton do not want to sell the teenager, who signed a new contract with the Seagulls only last season.

Ferguson made 10 starts and nine substitute appearances in the Premier League for Brighton last season, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process. The striker has played 12 minutes in the Premier League for the Seagulls this campaign, scoring one goal in the process. Spurs are aiming to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season.
