Tottenham Hotspur want Barcelona youngster Lucas de Vega

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Lucas de Vega from Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to Sport. It has been reported by the Spanish publication that Spurs made an offer to sign the youngster last summer, but the La Liga outfit turned it down.

The 21-year-old is a very talented and promising young player who plays as a midfielder. The Brazilian youngster has a big reputation in the youth team at Barcelona, but the youngster has yet to establish himself in the first team.

De Vega is unlikely to go straight into the Tottenham first team. Spurs need players who can make an immediate impact on the senior side and can help the team finish in the Premier League top four. It would make sense for the North London to look at other players who are more experience and will be for the here and now instead of investing in a player for the future.
