Tottenham Hotspur want Benfica striker Haris Seferovic

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Haris Seferovic from Benfica in the summer transfer window, according to A Bola, as relayed by Sport Witness. It has been reported that Spurs had been following the 29-year-old striker, and that the North London club are ready to make a move, now that the European Championship is over.

Seferovic has been at Benfica since 2017. The striker has had mixed performances at the Portuguese giants over the years. The Switzerland international scored 22 goals and gave seven assists in the league last season. However, in 2019-20, the Swiss scored five goals and gave two assists in the league. Back in 2018-19, Seferovic found the back of the net 23 times in the Portuguese league and also scored five goals.

Harry Kane is the number one striker at Tottenham at the moment and had a very good season on a personal level in 2020-21. The England international striker scored 23 goals and gave 14 assists in the Premier League last season.
