Tottenham Hotspur want Ivan Toney to replace Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Ivan Toney from London and Premier League rivals Brentford in the January transfer window, according to Football Transfers. The report has claimed that Spurs are looking for a striker to replace Harry Kane. England international striker Kane joined Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Toney is serving a ban at the moment and will not be available to play until January 2024. The England international striker has made 68 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. Toney has scored 32 goals and given nine assists in those games.

Tottenham Hotspur are second in the Premier League table at the moment with 10 points from four matches, two points behind leaders and city rivals Manchester City. Meanwhile, Brentford currently find themselves eighth in the league table with six points from four matches, four points behind fourth-placed and London rivals West Ham United.
