Tottenham Hotspur want Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero

Tottenham Hotspur are among a number of clubs who want to sign Sergio Aguero in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Star. Leeds United, Everton, Barcelona and Inter Milan are also keen on securing the services of the 32-year-old Argentina international striker, who will leave Manchester City at the end of the season and is available on a free transfer

Aguero is one of the best strikers in the world and remains a quality footballer despite having injury issues and being 32 years of age. The 32-year-old is a pure and natural goalscorer who would make Spurs better and more potent in attack. Harry Kane is the first-choice striker at Spurs, but perhaps a new manager would be able to play the England international and the Argentine together.

However, it remains to be seen if Aguero would be willing to make the move to Spurs, who may not be in the Champions League next season.
