Totti admits Aquilani will be missed

Roma ace Francesco Totti has admitted that midfielder Alberto Aquilani will be missed at the club.

Aquilani completed his move from Roma to Premier League giants Liverpool in a £18million deal earlier this week.

“It is a shame to lose Alberto. Along with being a friend, he is a great player,” said Totti.

“He is also Roma born and bred. We will miss him.”

Totti also took time to comment on his own form and the Europa League qualifier against Gent tonight.

“I am in good shape and am back on form,” continued Totti. “Tonight the only thing that matters is getting through to the next round.”
