Twente confirms Arna departure

Dutch side FC Twente have confirmed they have reached an agreement with Inter Milan about striker Marko Arnautovic.

The 20-year-old will join Inter Milan on loan but the Nerazurri will have the option to buy him.

“FC Twente and Inter Milan have agreed concerning the conditions for the departure of Marko Arnautovic to Inter Milan,” read a statement on the club website.

“Arnautovic is loaned for one season to Inter Milan, where he will remain definitively if he has been active in a certain number of games.

“If during the hiring period the option to buy is not activated, Arnautovic returns to FC Twente, where the player has a contract for two years and has agreed with Twente an option for another year.”
