Udinese will face either Irtysh Pavlodar or Siroki Brijeg in the third round of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League.

The Italian side harboured hopes of qualifying for the UEFA Champions League, but came up short as Milanpipped them to third position in Serie A.

They are joined in the third round of qualifying by La Liga’s Sevilla, who won the tournament under its previous guise of the UEFA Cup in 2007. Awaiting them will be Mladost Podgorica or Senica.

Their squad has been weakened by the sales of Jesus Navas and Alvaro Negredo to Manchester City, but they will still be favourites to qualify for the main draw.

Premier League side Swansea City secured their entry into this year’s tournament by winning the League Cup and they have been rewarded with a tie against either Malmo or Hibernian.

Elsewhere, Zurich will face off against Skonto or Slovan Liberec, while Saint-Etienne play Shakhtyor Soligorsk or Milsami Orhei.
