(GSM) – Sporting Lisbon continue to impress in the Europa League, beating Belgian side Gent 5-1 while Lille earned a small win over Levski Sofia.

Lisbon have dominated Group C from the start and, after beating Levski 5-0 in their previous game, the Portuguese again crushed an opponent in game three.

Diogo Salomao opened the scoring after just six minutes and when Liedson added another in the 13th, home fans knew that a pleasant night likely awaited them.

Stef Wils pulled one back for Gent but Liedson struck again in the 27th minute to restore the two-goal gap. Maniche (37th) and Helder Postiga (60th) finished it off for a 5-1 final result.

French outfit Lille hosted Levski Sofia of Bulgaria and needed just one goal to make the difference. Aurelien Chedjou scored what turned out to be the winner in the fifth minute after the interval, 1-0.

Lisbon have a perfect record with nine points from three games, followed by Lille who are now second with four points. Levski drop to third with three points and Gent remain at the bottom with just one point.
