Under 2.5 goals at Millwall vs Bristol City 1/1 for Tuesday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Under 2.5 goals

Odds: 1/1 @ Bet 365

Two sides who have really started to stall at the end of the season, Millwall will host Bristol City at the Den on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Rotherham’s 2-1 defeat against West Brom may have secured another season of Championship football for Millwall, Neil Harris will be far from impressed by his sides’ performances at the end of the year. Coming off the back of a 0-0 draw against Stoke over the weekend, the Lions have failed to win any of their last five outings and their form in the final third has been a continued concern for fans in South London. Millwall have managed to score just a single goal in over 300 minutes of action at the Den and only one side outside of the relegation zone holds a worse attacking record.

As for the visitors, much like Millwall, Bristol City are enduring their own worrying end to the season. Coming off the back of a 2-0 loss at home to Derby over the weekend, Lee Johnson’s side now find themselves sat four points adrift of the playoffs. Failing to win any of their last four contests and recording just a single clean sheet since the start of February, fans around Ashton Gate will also be concerned by their own form in the final third. Bristol City have failed to score in their last two appearances and it is also worth noting that the Robins have lost their last two matches on the road. With both sides struggling with their form, we’re backing a low-scoring encounter on Tuesday.
