Under 2.5 goals at Sheffield Wednesday vs Bolton 4/5 for Tuesday’s Championship clash

Competition: Championship

Market: Under 2.5 goals

Odds: 4/5 @ Bet 365

Two sides who havs been drastically short of form, Sheffield Wednesday will host Bolton at Hillsborough on Tuesday night.

Starting with the hosts, while Sheffield Wednesday may have started the season brightly and flirted with the playoff positions, it has been a torrid run of form of late. In their 18 Championship games this season, they have won five, drawn five and lost eight, scoring 22 and conceding 32 in return. The hosts also now hold the worst defensive record in the Championship after 18 games. With a points tally of 20, they now find themselves sat just three points above the relegation zone. As for their recent run of form, Wednesday are without a win in their last six league matches, losing five. Wednesday have also now recorded just one goal in their last 350 minuets of football.

As for the visitors, enduring a woeful start to the season, Bolton remain on course to be at the heart of yet another relegation battle. In their opening 18 games this season, the Whites have won four, drawn five and lost nine, scoring 12 and conceding 24 in return, they now hold the worst attacking record in the division. With a points tally of 17, Bolton now find themselves sat in the relegation zone. As for their recent run of form, much like Sheffield Wednesday, they have now failed to win any of their last eight, losing six of those outings. Bolton have also now managed to score just one goal in their last five Championship matches.
