Valencia have first option on Argentina starlet

Superdeporte is reporting that Valencia have secured the right of first refusal on Racing Club starlet Luciano Vietto.

Los Che are set to complete a €4.7 million deal for Racing Club attacker Rodrigo de Paul and they have used the opportunity to close in on another talented footballer.

According to Superdeporte, Valencia will have the first option on forward Luciano Vietto, who could follow his teammate to Mestalla in the coming years.

This is an excellent piece of business for the La Liga side considering that the 20-year-old is followed by some of Europe’s largest clubs.

Luciano Vietto has come through the youth ranks at Racing Club and he has already made a total of 69 league appearances, scoring 18 goals in the process.

He has also bagged two goals in four appearances for Argentina at the 2013 Under-20 South American Championship, but could not help his side get past the group stage.
