Fiorentina ace Juan Manuel Vargas insists he is not closing in on a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Peruvian claims his future is in the Serie A.
“I know that there have been rumours, but that’s all they are, just rumours. I am not even thinking about these things [leaving for Real Madrid],” the stopper told La Nazione.
“We cannot talk about tomorrow. It’s not the right time. The future is the future. All I can see on the horizon is my future at Fiorentina.
“I want to aim high with the Viola and develop as a player here.”
