Veloso stays at Sporting Lisbon

Miguel Veloso has committed his future to Sporting Lisbon in the wake of recent speculation about a move to Manchester City or Bolton. “This news is unfortunate, because this is not true,” he told Sporting’s official website. “The fact that what is written is not true makes me very sad because I started at Sporting, it was Sporting that created me and I just have to thank Sporting for everything they have done for me.
