Villarreal and Real Betis are interested in signing David Neres from Ajax in the summer of 2022, according to El Gol Digital. It has been reported that Spanish clubs Villarreal and Betis are ready to make bids for the 24-year-old Brazil international winger.
Neres has been on the books of Ajax since 2017 and is a very highly-rated footballer. The Brazil international has not done well in recent years, and there are suggestions that his progress has stunted, but he is still only 24 and can still get better.
The Ajax no.7 has scored two goals and provided one assist in five Eredivisie matches so far this season. During the 2020-21 campaign, the winger made 10 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the league, scoring three goals and providing six assists in the process.
