Wenger in ‘dig’ at John Terry?

The Daily Mail newspaper reports this morning that when asked what he wants from a captain he replied, “I don’t believe too much in leadership. I believe more in good passing than a guy who jumps around with his hands in the air and plays the leader”.

The Daily Mail suggests that this is a poorly disguised ‘dig’ at Chelsea skipper John Terry.

Now, I am by no means John Terry’s biggest fan, but I ask you, who would you rather have as your captain, John Terry or William Gallas?

Haha, wow Arsene why so butthurt? JT may jump around screaming and waving, but in the end, I think he provides fine leadership and unwavering commitment for both Chelsea and England. Insulting other players like a petty little bitch won’t get you a winning side, old man. Better to shut up and shape up.

We have seen the best captain between terry and his former captain(gallas), terry is a good leader on and off d pitch. 4 wenger to accuse of jumping around the field ir ridiculous. JT is a type of captain every manager will pray to have in their team

Patrick: Let Arsene be the manager and you concentrate on your day job!! Sell this and that and who do you replace him with? Sylvestre is not solid at all but on the contrary and too slow. As i have said all along, I wasn’t in favour of Gallas as captain but gave the manager the benefit of the doubt at the time knowing I couldn’t change his decision. Now he has opted to strip him of the captaincy, I support that move & equally support any moves on Arsene’s part subsequently.

I want Gallas sold in January. This isn’t the first time he’s pulled such ridiculous antics, like when he threatened to score own goals for Chelsea. He comes off as an asshole, its no wonder the players don’t listen to him when he talks to them. How can you respect your captain when he throws temper-tantrums after a match like at Birminham City last year? As rigged and bullshit as that game was, protesting after the final whistle will do nothing. Sell Gallas now to get the most money we can out of it, he is the disruptive cunt in the dressing room, not Ade, or RvP, but Gallas. Silvestre is solid, Djourou looks more the part with every game, and King Kolo will be a beast again when he recovers form, we don’t need or want Gallas!

I don’t want Gallas to be in the team because he would mess up in dressing room. And I want Fabregas or Clichy to be Captain. Stupid Gallas dosen’t know how to talk in front of public. Fabregas and Clichy know how to handle in front of public. Am I right?

This is just the beginning of woes for Arsenal. Eventually, we’ll see who’s wiser: the managers who spend good money buying quality players season after season OR the managers who believe in grooming young Nobodies into world-class stars-overnight despite having money available to spend in the transfer market. I’m quite sure Flamini and Hleb will be thanking their stars for the decisions they made last transfer window. Who knows, Fabregas may wise up or get fed up and join the outbound train soon!!!

Definitely not John Terry!! He is not an Arsenal type of player, so that dismisses him fortrightly. For Gallas, he was made captain because the Manager thought making him captain would keep him in check but that has all gone wrong. It should have been Gilberto and that’s when I thought and believed team spirit took a nose dive which we haven’t recovered from judging from the departures during the summer and the current state of the team.

In conclusion therefore, I would not have opted for either of these two names.

Give the armband to Clichy and NOW!!!
