West Bromwich Albion eye loan deal for Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard

Weet Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Jesse Lingard from Manchester United in the January transfer window, according to The Daily Mail. It has been reported that the Baggies have informed Premier League rivals United of their intention to sign the England international on loan until the end of the season.

Lingard, who can play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, is struggling for playing time at United at the moment. The 28-year-old former England international has yet to make a single appearance in the Premier League for the Red Devils.

West Brom are struggling to create chances and score goals. The Baggies could do with someone like Lingard, who is a creative player and has experience of playing in the Premier League. The Englishman must be hungry for playing time and getting back to his best, and he could be a good short-term signing for Sam Allardyce’s side.
