West Bromwich Albion planning Rangers raid for Alfredo Morelos

West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Alfredo Morelos from Rangers in the summer transfer window, according to The Daily Record. It has been reported that the Baggies are preparing an offer for the Colombia international, with French club Lille set to return with a second bid of £17 million.

Although Lille have agreed personal terms with Morelos, the Ligue 1 outfit are yet to reach an agreement with Rangers over the transfer fee. This has alerted West Brom, who will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship this campaign and are looking for a new striker to sign this summer.

The Baggies reportedly wanted the 24-year-old last summer when they were still in the Championship and made a £12 million bid, but Rangers turned it down. With the team now set to play in the Premier League next season, manager Slaven Bilic has reignited interest in the striker.
