West Ham United interested in Reims striker Hugo Ekitike

West Ham United are interested in signing Hugo Ekitike from Reims in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed interest in the 19-year-old French striker from Newcastle United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Arsenal as well.

Ekitike has made 14 starts and seven substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Reims so far this season, scoring nine goals and providing two assists in the process. The striker is one of the best young players in Europe and has huge potential.

West Ham will need to sign at least two new strikers in the summer transfer window, as Michail Antonio is the only recognised senior striker in David Moyes’s squad at the moment.
