West Ham United want to sign Jota

West Ham United are interested in signing Jota from Al Ittihad, according to 90min. Jota joined Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad from Scottish Premiership side Celtic in the summer transfer window for £25 million. However, former Tottenham head coach Nuno has not included the winger in his squad and has not registered him.

The report has claimed that talks are going on between Al Ittihad and Jota over releasing him from his contract so that he could become a free agent and potentially move to a club in Europe. If that happened, then West Ham could try to bring the Portuguese winger to London Stadium.

West Ham are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 13 points from seven matches, three points behind Liverpool in fourth and five points behind leaders and defending champions Manchester City. Meanwhile, Al Ittihad currently find themselves second in the Saudi Professional League table with 19 points from eight matches, a point behind leaders Al Hilal.
