West Ham want to sign Leeds midfielder Kalvin Phillips

West Ham United are interested in signing Kalvin Phillips from Premier League rivals Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. West Ham wanted to sign Phillips in the January transfer window and are still keen on bringing him to London Stadium in the summer of 2022.

Phillips has had injury problems for Leeds this season, but he is now fit and is doing his best to make sure that the Whites do not get relegated to the Championship. The Leeds no. 23 has made 17 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League this season, providing one assist in the process.

Leeds are 17th in the Premier League table at the moment with 35 points from 37 matches, a point clear of third-from-bottom Burnley, who have played 36 games. Meanwhile, West Ham are currently seventh with 56 points from 37 matches.
