Wolfsburg coach Lorenz Gunther Kostner admits that he is desperate for striker Edin Dzeko to snub a move away from the club this summer.
The 24-year-old has been linked with AC Milan, Chelsea and Manchester City in recent months.
The Bosnia international has been a hit in the Bundesliga for Wolfsburg in recent seasons, scoring 26 goals in 29 league starts last season and scoring 18 so far this season.
Kostner said: “I can’t tell you how important it would be for Edin to stay.”
