Wolves linked with West Ham striker Michail Antonio

Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in signing Michail Antonio from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the January transfer window, according to talkSPORT journalist Alex Crook on Twitter. The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that Wolves would be keen on securing the services of Antonio if he became available.

Antonio has been on the books of West Ham since 2015 and has established himself as an important player for the Hammers. The 32-year-old has made seven starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for West Ham so far this season, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process.

Wolves are second from bottom in the Premier League table at the moment with 14 points from 18 matches, while West Ham currently find themselves 17th in the standings with 15 points from 18 games. Both the Wanderers and the Hammers are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season.
