Wolves to tigger Willy Boly’s buy-out clause

The Telegraph is reporting that Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to turn Willy Boly’s loan deal into permanent move.

The central defender has largely impressed since joining the club from FC Porto last summer, going on to make 34 league appearances and score 3 goals.

Having secured promotion to the Premier League, Wolves are now working on keeping the current squad together, and they will soon trigger a £10 million buy-out clause in the Frenchman’s contract.

According to The Telegraph, the Championship high-flyers will do the same with former player Benik Afobe, currently on the books of AFC Bournemouth.

Since returning to the club on loan in January, the Arsenal FC graduate managed 5 goals in just 573 minutes of league football.

Wolves also have options to sign Leo Bonatini and Alfred N’Diaye, who have also been in fine form since arriving at Molineux.
