Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has admitted he would love to play alongside his brother Kolo in the Premier League at Arsenal. Both brothers are team mates on a national-level for Ivory Coast, but would love to chance to link up on a club-level as well.
With Josep Guardiola stepping in as new manager for Barcelona, the Ivory Coast international could be surplus to requirements.
Arsenal manager, Wenger, wants a midfielder to replace the departed Flamini and the 24-year old Yaya is a player who has been on his radar for years. In 2002, he spent time on trial with the Gunners but a deal was not struck, and he eventually moved on Metalurg Donetsk, Ukraine.
In an exclusive interview with Skysports, “I am aware of the interest from the Premier League. But I can’t say anything yet – however it would be great to play in a big team with my brother, it would be fantastic but you never know,” Yaya stated.
