AC Milan have announced the signing of Ajax utility player Urby Emanuelson on their officials website.
The 24-year-old, who can cover every position on the left hand side as well as feature as a central midfielder, has signed a contract until June 2014.
The transfer fee was not disclosed but it is though Milan got the Dutch international at a cut-back price seeing his contract with Ajax was due to expire next summer.
Milan have been on the lookout for a left-back for quite a while and it is though Emanuelson will mostly feature as a left defender for the Rossoneri.
The 24-year-old has become one of the key players for Ajax, having amassed more than 200 appearances for the Amsterdammers, while he also has 11 senior caps to his name.
