Antonio linked with Derby County switch

Michail Antonio could be set for a January move to Derby County, according to the Mirror.

The twenty-five year old moved to West Ham United from Nottingham Forest in the summer but has barely featured for the East London club.

His only appearance came as a substitute in the Hammers’ shock 2-1 victory at league leaders Manchester City back in September and he already could be heading for the Upton Park exit door.

Prior to his move the Premier League outfit, Antonio spent a year at the City Ground, where he was named Forest’s Player of the Year after netting fifteen goals in forty-nine appearances in the 2014/15 campaign while he also scored four in five for the Reds this season.

He began his career with non-league Tooting and Mitcham United before moving to Reading while he has also played for Sheffield Wednesday and had loan spells with Cheltenham Town, Colchester United and Southampton.
